Overview
The Nar Phu Valley Trek is one of Nepal’s most remote and culturally rich Himalayan adventures. Nestled in the northern Annapurna region, this 15-day trek takes you through isolated villages, narrow gorges, dense pine forests, and high-altitude alpine landscapes. The trek combines the hidden beauty of the Nar and Phu valleys with the classic Annapurna Circuit, offering a mix of cultural immersion, spectacular mountain scenery, and challenging high passes like Kang La and Thorong La.
Along the way, trekkers explore medieval Tibetan-style villages, ancient monasteries, and interact with warm, traditional communities. Optional side trips to Tilicho Base Camp and Tilicho Lake provide a chance to see one of the world’s highest lakes. This trek is perfect for travelers seeking adventure, tranquility, and a glimpse into Nepal’s untouched Himalayan culture, all while enjoying breathtaking views of peaks like Himlung Himal, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho.
The Nar Phu Valley Trek is moderately to highly challenging due to long trekking days and high altitudes, but the combination of natural beauty and cultural richness makes it a truly unforgettable journey.
