Overview
The Annapurna Circuit is one of Nepal’s most famous trekking routes, and for good reason. In just 11 days, this trek takes you from green valleys and traditional villages to high mountain passes and dramatic landscapes. You’ll walk through subtropical forests, deep gorges, and flat high-altitude lands before crossing the legendary Thorong La Pass (5,416m)—the highest and most challenging point of the trek.
Along the way, you’ll experience rich culture in villages like Chame, Pisang, and Manang, where Tibetan influence is strong. You’ll also enjoy amazing mountain views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and the sacred Machapuchare. After the big adventure of crossing Thorong La, the trek leads down to Muktinath, a spiritual pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, before finishing in the windy valley town of Jomsom.
