Overview
The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek is one of Nepal’s most rewarding Himalayan adventures, and with Geo Nepal Treks & Expedition, you’ll experience it in comfort, safety, and style. This journey combines the classic Annapurna Circuit with a side trip to the breathtaking Tilicho Lake (4,919m)—one of the highest lakes in the world.
The trek begins with a scenic drive to Dharapani and gradually ascends through lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and terraced farmlands. Each day brings new scenery and new cultural encounters, from the Gurung and Manang villages to Tibetan-influenced communities. Friendly locals, prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and the rhythm of the trail make this journey unforgettable.
After a rest day in Manang to acclimatize, the adventure leads you off the main circuit to Tilicho Base Camp. The hike up to Tilicho Lake is a true highlight—the turquoise waters set against towering snow peaks create an atmosphere of peace and awe. Few trekking experiences compare to standing on its shores.
Rejoining the circuit, the trail climbs through alpine meadows to Yak Kharka, before reaching the legendary Thorong La Pass (5,416m)—the highest point of the trek. Crossing this pass is challenging but deeply rewarding, with panoramic views of the Himalayas stretching in every direction.
Descending into Mustang, you’ll visit the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath before finishing the trek in Jomsom and heading back to Pokhara.
With Geo Nepal Treks & Expedition, every detail is thoughtfully managed—from logistics and safety to cultural insights—so you can fully immerse yourself in this once-in-a-lifetime Himalayan journey.
